On Sunday, Jan. 30, from 4-5:30 p.m., join Inside Columbia nutrition contributor Chef Kimber Dean at her Nourish Cafe & Market as she teaches you how to meal prep!
You’ll be making zoodle lasagna, pesto, citrus vinaigrette, cashew ricotta, marinara and smoothie bags. All will be ready to freeze and can last in the freezer for several months. She will go over meal prepping similar items, soups, bone broths and more while you cook. She’ll discuss expiration dates for newly prepped items, how to store them correctly and reheat them, how to use sauces in multiple recipes and much more!
Everything will be vegan and free of dairy, gluten, grains, soy, corn, processed sugar, pork and peanut. You leave with a recipe, two servings of lasagna, four smoothie bags, and eight ounces of all the sauces you’ve made. Dean may even try to sneak some truffles or energy bites in that you can freeze.
