The housing market is always changing and trying to anticipate what will happen next is impossible. That’s why it’s important for buyers to first talk to a local lender and get prequalified for a loan before even entering the shopping phase. You have to know and be comfortable with what that monthly payment will look like before you can hit the streets to find the home that fits your needs.

When you are ready to start shopping, I recommend having a wish list ready for your real estate agent. This will help your agent get to know you and what you’re looking for in a home.Since the market is constantly in flux, there is no perfect time to buy a home. The best time to buy is when you find your perfect house and you can afford it.

Before becoming a real estate agent, I worked in the mortgage industry. In order to provide the best guidance possible, I closely follow the markets, talk to lenders and other real estate professionals, and read as much as I can. Getting into the real estate industry has allowed me to use my customer service skills while working directly with people to create long-lasting relationships. It’s my favorite part about working in our community. After all, I don’t just want to find my clients a house. I want to help them find a home, while building a relationship that lasts beyond the transaction itself. My clients are my highest priority and you can be sure to find integrity in every transaction.
