Say “I Do” To A Wedding Stroll!

By Inside Columbia

If there’s a wedding in the works for you or someone you know, don’t miss the District’s wedding stroll on Sunday, March 20. The stroll is from 11:15 a.m. to 5 p.m. You’ll have a chance to visit venues, floral shops, dress shops and more. It’s the perfect way to get inspiration for your decoration, gown, flowers, favors or music! Get stroll tickets here.

If a big to-do isn’t for you, here’s something good to know: The City of Columbia Municipal Court performs free weddings on the second and fourth Friday of each month in the beautiful historic municipal court room on the second floor of the Howard Building at 600 E. Broadway. A municipal judge performs the civil ceremony of marriage.

If a couple chooses to get married in Municipal Court they will need to obtain a marriage license from the Boone County recorder of deeds at 573.886.4350.
