Movies in the Park returns to Columbia this week, with “Luca” set to show at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Cosmo Park.
Movies in the Park is put on by Columbia Parks and Recreation, and features a different movie showing at Cosmo Park, 1615 Business Loop 70 W., each month from May through September. The events are free and attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or low lawn chair for seating. Lefty’s Kettle Corn and VooDoo Sno will be on site offering concessions.
This week’s movie screening may get wet, as the National Weather Service is calling for possible thunderstorms Friday night. If the movie is rained out, it will not be rescheduled.
