Your wedding photos should be something you look forward to seeing and sharing.

But for those of us who are self-conscious, insecure or just generally camera shy, having those photos taken can be an anxiety-inducing thought. There’s even wedding photo anxiety itself, which can cause people to be so worried about the resulting photos that they don’t enjoy the moments being caught on film.

If that’s something you struggle with, consider taking a look at some of the tips offered by body image advocate Victoria Garrick  in a recent blog post on The Knot. She recommends a few things to help, from talking with your partner about your expectations for the day to banning the use of filters and even restricting social media use during the wedding itself.
