Six-Mile Ordinary Opens New Distillery in Columbia

By Inside Columbia
six-mile ordinary distillery

Six-Mile Ordinary has opened its doors in Columbia. According to its website, the distillery opened late last month and will operate from 5-10 p.m. Thursday-Friday, from noon-10 p.m. Saturday and from noon-8 p.m. Sunday. The new spot is located at 700 Fay St.

The company’s origin dates back to July 1, 1774 when owner Maury Allen’s fifth generation grandfather owned and operated a distillery in Virginia. The owners see the Columbia operation as a tribute to that original distillery.

Six-Mile Ordinary has vodka, tequila, whiskey, rum and gin products. Along with providing delicious products, Six-Mile Ordinary also has a tasting room and distillery tours.
