A local Cuban café announced on social media it is closing its doors on Saturday.

“We want to thank everyone who has supported us, and it was our pleasure bringing Cuban cuisine to Columbia,” says the post from Sagua La Grande Cuban Café on Ninth Street. While the café closes this weekend, it will be open for regular weekday hours until the closure Saturday from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 4:30-8 p.m.

The restaurant is only running on inventory, so if you have a favorite dish, grab it quickly before they run out. All gift cards will still be honored until closure, but the sweet deal certificate will not be.

The post also says the Cuban café will continue to offer catering and the Facebook page will remain open for that service only.

“Until next time Columbia!”
