Tellers Gallery and Bar has closed its doors temporarily following a fire in downtown Columbia. According to an article by the Columbia Missourian, a microwave started the fire at Ragtag’s off-site offices located above Tellers.

Tellers posted on social media after the fire, telling the community about the closure. “You may have heard, seen or smelled what happened today downtown. We will be closed until further notice. Please support our sister restaurant Sake Japanese Bistro,” the post says.

GoFundMe is set up to support Tellers as they get back on their feet, and so far, the community has raised more than $12,000 out of the $70,000 goal. “Show them how much you appreciate all their hard work and dedication by supporting them during this unexpected rough patch,” the GoFundMe says.

To stay up-to-date on the closure, visit Tellers on social media.
