True/False Film Fest begins another year! Films start at 4:15 p.m. today and continue, along with numerous other events, through Sunday night, ending with Buskers Last Stand, at 9:30 p.m.
According to the website, “True/False is an annual festival in Columbia, Missouri, USA, which strives to celebrate the best of international nonfiction. T/F brings together filmmakers, artists, and musicians to create an immersive and communal experience focused on cinema constructed from reality.” This year’s theme is The Human Paradox.
The 37 featured films and 26 short films make up the bulk of the schedule, however, the art, parties, food and music also fill the weekend, making the festival immersive, and one not to miss. More than 45 musicians and bands from throughout the U.S., including multiple Missouri musicians, will be performing throughout the four-day festival.
True/False officially kicks off with Friday’s March March parade at 4:45 p.m. For information about the festival, visit the True/False Film Festival website.
