Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap Debuts at Maplewood Barn

The longest running play, Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” will be performed at the Maplewood Barn Theatre, opening the theatre’s 51st season.

Opening night is Thursday, May 16 and runs through Sunday, May 19, then picks back up on Thursday, May 23 through closing night on Sunday, May 26. All showtimes are 8-10:30 p.m.

Individual and season tickets can be purchased on the Maplewood Barn Theatre’s website. Individual tickets are $13 for adults, $5 for children under, or $10 per ticket for a group of 10 or more. A season ticket pass to all four shows is $40.

The theatre’s Facebook event page states, “As news spreads of a murder in London, a group of seven strangers find themselves snowed in at a remote countryside guesthouse. When a police sergeant arrives, the guests discover – to their horror – that a killer is in their midst! Which one is the murderer? Who will be their next victim?”

This season will be marked by four shows debuting at the local theatre. The three other shows include “The Lady Demands Satisfaction” by Arthur M. Jolly, “9 to 5 The Musical” by Dolly Parton and “Lady Windermere’s Fan” by Oscar Wilde.
