Ready to get down to Earth? Earth Day 2022 is this week and Columbia has a couple of different ways to celebrate.
On Sunday, from noon-7 p.m., Peace Park will host the Columbia Area Earth Day Festival with more than 200 vendor booths, eco-centered entertainment and sustainability workshops.
If you get to Peace Park a little early, you could also participate in 30 minutes of hatha yoga, courtesy of Sarah’s Yoga Studio which is hosting the free Earth Day pop-up event at 11:30 a.m. Sunday. All poses will be standing, so no one needs to bring a yoga mat.
But you may consider an umbrella. While Saturday is looking to be mostly Sunday, rain is supposed to start that night and continue into Sunday.
