Winter is officially over, this is not a drill! Take advantage of the warming weather this weekend and join the community as the Columbia Farmers Market continues their spring season. Experience the transition of the Columbia Farmers Market’s early spring hours from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. The farmers market is a year-round event, however during the winter months the market has shorter hours.

Enjoy fresh produce, meat, eggs, cheese, honey, cut flowers, plants, artisan items and more from new and old vendors alike. More importantly, shop the season.

April is the best month for asparagus, chard, greens, kale, leeks, lettuce, mushrooms, peppers, spinach and more. More produce will be available, but April is the month to grab your greens, according to the Columbia Farmers Market website.
