Columbia’s Pumpkin Fun Run Set For This Weekend

Runners still have time to register for the Pumpkin Fun Run this weekend in Columbia. From 1-3 p.m. Sunday, participants will be at Philips Lake Park to run for fun and the chance to win $500 for their school’s physical education programs.

While registration is open until Friday, only the 3 p.m. slot is open for new runners. On-site registration will be available for the day of. If registering on Saturday, participants are asked to arrive 30 minutes before the race.

For students, the cost is $15 to run, which includes a T-shirt and registration packet with sponsor gifts. Parents and teachers are allowed to run/walk with their children free of charge. However, if the parents want to receive a Pumpkin Run T-shirt with the run, they need to register and pay the entry fee.
