This weekend, find a new book or two to read this summer at the second annual CoMo Grown-up Book Fair hosted by Rose Music Hall. Starting at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, entertain your inner child and browse a curated selection of books from local and independent booksellers, including Skylark Bookshop, Yellow Dog Bookshop, Distant Planet Comics, The Mizzou Bookstore, FREEAIR Books and Peace Nook, as well as local authors like Aaron Fox, Sean R. Frazier and Elaine Strawn.
While enjoying the fair, participants will also get to immerse themselves in a full ’90s experience with a photo booth provided by Selfie Love CoMo, a bar featuring Adult Capri Suns and literary style cocktail menu, a bake sale, Pizza Tree and Angelina’s Tacos, a vintage market, trivia sessions and more.
A portion of proceeds from all tickets will benefit the Daniel Boone Regional Library Foundation.
Tickets are $15 for general admission and $25 for early entry. Doors for early entry ticket buyers will open at 11:30 a.m. All early entry ticket buyers will receive a custom CoMo Grown-Up Book Fair tote. For more information or to buy tickets, visit rosemusichall.com.
