It’s time to learn a new skill, while having fun this week. Take part in a beginner-level embroidery workshop from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Access Arts, 1724 Mcalester St.

The workshop includes an overview of thread types, tools and fabric selection along with an instruction on five different types of stitches. Tools and thread will be provided, however participants are welcome to bring any of their own tools or materials.

When the class begins, participants will be given a template design to work on. This will leave each person with a design that is completely unique to them. For more information, visit schoolofservice.org.
