This weekend, David Coil with Coil Construction will be collaborating with local artist Michael Marcum to work on creating artful doors, using unique materials from area construction sites.
From 1-6 p.m. Saturday at Logboat Brewing Co., anyone is welcome to watch the pair work as they create art using pieces of local architecture. People are welcome to give suggestions as they complete their process, and even bring small metal or wooden pieces to include. There is a suggested $10 donation for those who attend.
This event is in conjunction with Coil Construction’s annual CelebrARTy fundraiser. All pieces constructed will be available at the live art auction Oct. 15. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
