Bringing a new reading series to the North Village Arts District is Serendipity Salon and Spa. From 7-9 p.m. tonight, join the community in listening to novelist Darren Dean and poet Aliki Barnstone read from their respective works.

Readings start at 7:30 p.m. with Dean and Barnstone each reading for 30 minutes with a brief Q&A after. Wine and beer will be for sale through the gallery before and after the reading, and a table for sales and book signings will be set up after the readings from Yellow Dog Bookshop.
