If you hear hooting from north Columbia, it is probably Painted Owl Boutique, LLC which opened on Oct. 21. The business is located at 6050 Brown Station Road, suite E and offers handmade creations just in time for the holidays.
The boutique has been a passion project for owner Katie Wulff. “We knew that this space would help so many people with a passion for art and all things handmade,” Wulff says, “I spent last winter and all of this year networking to find people around our community that have unique gifts.”
Wulff and her fiancé have worked on the space for a year. The boutique offers jewelry, printed T-shirts, barbecue sauces and rubs, cookies, wooden signs and more. They also have hosted a book signing event.
Painted Owl Gift Boutique is open 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. They are closed Sunday to Tuesday.
