Come celebrate the grand opening of the Center of Excellence for Veteran Success at Stamper Commons on the Stephens College campus! At 10 a.m., tomorrow, the college will celebrate with remarks, a ribbon cutting and more to honor the new center for female veterans.

Backed by Stephens’ Mission Promise Kept, the new center is dedicated to empowering the college’s veterans. According to the website, Mission Promise Kept “is the first comprehensive college program designed to meet the full spectrum of living and learning needs of women veterans. Participants and their children will live in a newly renovated on-campus apartment and receive the wraparound support they need to thrive through a coordinated network of programs and services.”

A welcome and opening remarks for the ceremony will be 10-10:15 a.m.; the dedication of the center will be 10:15-10:30 a.m.; the ribbon cutting ceremony will be from 10:30-10:45 a.m.; and networking and refreshments will be from 10:45-11:00 a.m.
