that's what she said

This Saturday, join nine local women at the Missouri Theatre as they tell their stories in this year’s second annual That’s What She Said event.

Presented by Stephens College and directed and produced by Allie Teagarden, the event runs from 7-9 p.m. with doors opening at 6 p.m. The speakers include Adonica Coleman, Augusta Cooper, Erica Dickson, Ranjana Hans, Elizabeth Herrera, Ellery Miller, Rebecca Miller, Jean Plumley and Vickey Riback Wilson.

For the event, Teagarden states, “This is an evening for the entire community to come together and celebrate the voices and contributions of women here in Columbia (you don’t have to be a woman to attend – all are welcome!).”

Each year, proceeds from the event benefit different initiatives in the community. This year, a portion of the proceeds will benefit maternal health initiatives in the Columbia community through the Boone Health Foundation and MU Health Care.

Tickets are $40 and include an alcoholic beverage or mocktail, along with a dessert before the show. Tickets and more information can be found at: comotickets.com/events/.
