Room 38 Restaurant & Lounge has officially changed its late night vibe. In mid-April, Room 38 announced it was making a return to its roots, changing its late night focus from undergraduates back to professionals.
Room 38 wrote a letter to its guests explaining how over time, as the student population continued to grow, the restaurant and lounge became a favorite late night destination for undergraduates. “At some point though, we noticed that the energy in the room had shifted, and that our graduate/professional crowd wasn’t quite on the same page,” the letter says. Now, Room 38 is a place to come after dinner, have great drinks and, “enjoy an upbeat lounge atmosphere,” the letter says. “We want you to be able to sit, stand, be comfortable how you want to be, and be able to hear each other talk.”
With the change in vibe, Room 38 also announced it brought back Monday night Martinis and Manicures on April 24. It also announced on Thursdays there will be new specials, new music, half off martinis and two for one bottles of champagne, and, on Friday and Saturday, customers will be able to enjoy late night appetizers from 10 p.m.-midnight.
