The 2022 Missouri Wine Competition winners have been announced, and mid-Missouri wines made it on the list once again.
Les Bourgeois Vineyards which rebranded under the name The Blufftop at Rocheport this year, won the tradition label in the label competition for the Rocheport Reserve aged 20 years. The Blufftop also won the C.V. Riley Award for its 2020 Norton.
The Blufftop’s Collectors Series also won which includes the 2021 Vignoles Traminette, Joie de Moliere, 202 Norton, 2021 Vignoles. Other wines recognized include the Jeunette Rouge, Brut, Rocheport, Brut Rosé, Mizzou Vintage Dry Red, Fléur Du Vi, Pink Vox, 2020 Chardonel and 2021 Solay.
More than 200 wines were given awards across Missouri. People will be able to view the winning wines at the 2022 Missouri State Fair from Aug. 11-21 in Sedalia.
