Newman Parish is set to host its second annual Mardi Gras Festival on Mizzou’s campus. Starting at 1 p.m. Saturday, enjoy the parade followed by jazz music, hot drinks, beer, food and cake.

Zydeco’s Cajun Kitchen Food Truck will be on site if people want to purchase food, however the event itself is free for everyone.

If your organization or group wants to participate in the parade, click here. All groups participating in the parade must be family-friendly. To register for the parade or learn more about the Mardi Gras event, visit comonewman.org/mardigras.
