‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Showing to Fly Into the Weekend

By Inside Columbia
Top Gun: Maverick

Everyone has seen the iconic Miles Teller dance on TikTok, but it’s time to see it on the big screen. This weekend, students have a chance to watch “Top Gun: Maverick” in Leadership Auditorium at 8 p.m Friday and Saturday.

The movie follows one of the U.S. Navy’s top aviators, Pete “Maverick” Mitchell, who returns after 30 years to train a detachment of graduates for a special assignment.

Two more raffle baskets are being given away at the showings this weekend. The themed baskets include fake mustaches, aviator sunglasses, a framed photo of Miles Teller, squeezy popcorn, some movie snacks and a picnic blanket.

To enter the giveaway, you just need to attend either the Friday or Saturday showing. The winner will be announced right before each screening begins.

The showings are free to attend. For more information, click here.
