Lace up your shoes or cheer on the runners and walkers of this year’s Go Girl Run events at Peace Park starting at 7 a.m. on Sunday, June 2.

The 12th annual all-women event holds multiple races in the morning, beginning with the half marathon race at 7 a.m. and the 5K race at 7:15 a.m. The Little Miss GO GIRL 1/2 mile and the Little Miss GO GIRL Full Mile will be 6-6:45 p.m. on Saturday, June 1.

There is still time to register for the events. Until May 26, it is $109 to register for the half marathon, $55 for the 5K and $15 for the Little Miss GO GIRL 1/2 Mile and Full Mile races. If looking to race virtually, registration for the virtual half marathon is $89 and the virtual 5K is $49. Both can be completed June 2-16. After May 26, prices will increase.

Aid stations will be available every mile and a half with water, a sports drink and gels. Participants in the half marathon and 5K races will receive custom finishers medals, a custom shirt and a smoothie. For more information on the events, visit the Go Girl Run series Columbia website.
