Help To Quit Smoking

By Inside Columbia

If stopping smoking was one of your resolutions, check out Quit Now Classes from the Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. Classes are available online for free and take place every other Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Using tobacco in any form weakens the immune system, which makes it harder for your body to fight disease. If you continue to use, you also have a greater risk for respiratory infections such as colds, flu and COVID-19. But there is good news:  Soon after you stop tobacco products, your body begins to heal. Ellis’s certified tobacco treatment specialists can help you quit or help you support someone who wants to quit.
