Are you looking to dive deeper into the depths of your mind, understand yourself and gain greater perspectives on how to cause empowering change within? Understanding and interpreting your dreams can help.
The Columbia School of Metaphysics is offering a 4-week class to discuss dreams. During this time, you will be taught common dream symbols, how to interpret your dreams and will delve deeper into the function and duty of the subconscious mind. Classes are $20 per class for a total of $80, and begin tonight, Tuesday, March 8, from 6-8 p.m.
One of the most common dreams is dreaming about falling. An old myth that claims if you hit the ground in your dream you will die in real life is not true. So what might dreams about falling really mean?
According to many popular dream interpretations and at least one study — published in the scientific journal Motivation and Emotion — falling dreams signal something isn’t going well for you in your life. It may mean you need to rethink a decision you’ve made or perhaps entertain a new direction in some part of your life.
Russell Grant, author of The Illustrated Dream Dictionary, says “Dreaming of falling is very common. It is a symbol of fear in real life — perhaps of failing at work or in your love life. Falling often expresses a need to let yourself go more and enjoy life more.”
