Columbia is gearing up for the highly anticipated 6th Annual Lizzy’s Walk of Faith 5K Walk/Run, but it’s at a new location this year. Starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, walk for a cause at Bethel Park to honor Lizzy and other children who have battled childhood cancer while raising funds for pediatric cancer research and support families facing similar challenges.
Participants of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to take part. Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker or someone looking to support a great cause, this event is for you. Participants will be greeted by the Mizzou Golden Girls, fire jugglers, princesses, superheroes, newly-crowned Miss Missouri, gourmet popcorn and Kona Ice.
