By Are you a fan of comic books? Then you should make sure to visit one of Columbia’s local comic book stores on Saturday in celebration of Free Comic Book Day.
The annual holiday is meant to expand interest in comic books and was “founded on the belief that for every person out there, there’s a comic book they’ll love.” Typically held on the first Saturday in May, the event features participating comic book stores offering a selection of free titles to patrons. In Columbia, both Rock Bottom Comics and Distant Planet Comics & Collectibles are participating.
Both stores are also in running for our annual Best of Columbia under Best Gaming/Comic Store. Voting is open through May 12, so make sure you vote for your favorite every day!
