By Zimmer Communications is partnering with A-1 Containers for the Central Missouri Honor Flight Radiothon starting at 6 a.m. Friday.
The daylong event collects donations for Central Missouri Honor Flight, a local nonprofit that arranges flights for area veterans to visit Washington, D.C. and tour war memorials at no cost to them. The organization has a waiting list of veterans seeking to go on future flights and every donation counts.
Donations can be made by phone starting at 6 a.m. Friday by calling the Service Master Clean of Columbia Phone Bank at 573-815-7516. Donations also can be made online both during and before the radiothon, thanks to Steve’s Pest Control.
