Job Point President and CEO Announces Retirement Plans

Job Point officially announced Steve Smith, the president and CEO, is set to retire this year. Until the transition, Smith plans to continue his efforts to ensure a strong and stable future for Job Point.

According to a press release, Smith says he was honored to work for Job Point since April 28, 2015. “I am a firm believer in opportunities. When I accepted this position, I looked at it as an opportunity. And I have to say, the highlight of my career has been here,” Smith says.

Before joining Job Point, Steve dedicated 37 years to the banking industry. Alongside his private sector experience, Smith contributed his expertise to various organizations, serving on the boards of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Heart of Missouri United Way, as well as participating in several committees with Columbia Public Schools.
