An authentic Mexican kitchen has officially closed in Columbia. Las Koritas Authentic Kitchen posted on Facebook on July 17 announcing the closure. “Unfortunately, the stability is not where we need it to be, and we have decided to go on a hiatus of at least a year,” the post says.

According to the post, during the next year, the plan is to rebrand the business, craft a more diverse menu and potentially get a food truck, trailer or mobile food cart since the company was operating at the CoMo Cooks Shared Kitchen. “Unfortunately, the way things are going right now, this wouldn’t be possible to do,” the post says. “I wish I were superhuman, but sometimes we have to listen to our health over our dreams.”

The post thanked the community for all the support, saying the success up to this point would not be possible without all the help. “This is not goodbye but a see you later,” the post says. “Much love and blessings to you all; it has been an honor to serve you and your families.”
