By Kick off your weekend with two plant workshops at Helmi’s Gardens this Saturday!
Houseplants 101 is the first workshop of the day at 10-11 a.m. and will cover how much water, light, soil and fertilizer can be beneficial to your plants, what happens if you get pests in them, along with what plants would work best in your home’s space. From 2-3 p.m., Helmi’s hosts Intro to Rare Plants. Caring for rare plants is different than caring for the common houseplant, so this class will give you tips on helping your rare species flourish! Attendees for the latter class will take home a White Princess philodendron.
